Thoughts are with Helen , Pete's Mum and the family & all friends in the far too early loss of Pete. My enduring thought going forward is that I shall remember now always Pete's final encouragement to "Stay Punk" in speaking out about lower than optimal patient care and voicing where clear improvement may be made, as I have been known to do. This was Pete's advice to me when we saw him several weeks ago. Still Pete, positive about the future whilst completely open and pragmatic, so bravely considering still of improving future patient prospects.
